Excerpt 3 from Here Comes Amazing You
Can you imagine yourself free in spirit, living in the best
of health and vibrancy, without paying any attention to
how old you are? Can you imagine having more energy
today than you had twenty-five years ago? You accomplish more,
exercise more, eat more nourishing foods, drink pure water and
get plenty of rest. You are no longer making the excuse, “If only
it was ten years ago, maybe I could start a new business or take
an extended trip or fulfill that impossible dream.” Unfulfilled
desires are no longer part of your life because you are living a full
and upbeat life whether you are fifty, sixty, seventy or eighty plus.
The idea of what “old age” means has been ingrained into of
all of us and most of us live according to societal norms and
expectations. Some people start to die decades before their bodies
actually go. Women start to die as their last child leaves home,
men start to die when their careers end and they no longer have
work. People feel lost when they lose their so-called identity:
when the roles they have chosen come to their natural ending.

Sixty-five is the age our government chooses to send social
security checks, but does that mean retirement? Why not retire
at forty-five or ninety-five?
There are too many “supposed to do this” and “supposed to
do thats!” These expectations cause much grief. Hanging on to
those “shoulds” makes life so much harder than it needs to be.
Whenever you catch yourself saying, “Should,” it’s a clue why
you’re in so much pain. Thinking the world should be a certain
way is a waste of energy. It’s the way it is.

Excerpts based on book "Here Comes Amazing You"

QUESTIONS FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION
1. Have you ever told yourself, “If it was only ten
years ago, two years ago, I would have done this
or that, but now it is too late.” Can you imagine
a new project, a diet, an exercise, a trip, falling
in love, something you never thought could be
possible happen to you now, without thinking
too much time has passed on?
2. Could it be your lack of imagination that has
held you back from being the full and vibrant
you?
3. Does it seem impossible to think that anything
diff erent could happen in your life as you know it?
4. Did you enjoy thinking about the possibilities
ahead of you?

If any of the above hits home, go now into your imagination and get some answers or before you go to bed focus on something you would love to do and let your dreams guide you; no kidding they will, you just have to remember them!

Saturday/9/29
Based on book "Here Comes Amazing You"

Dreaming was intense last night. Dreamt about my old boyfriend who wanted more than anything to make love to me but I resisted knowing the consequences. It was a pleasant dream taking me through the night with all of his attention focused on his hopeful conquest.  Finally knowing it was not happening he went to the barn and played in his band.  Somewhere in the night a new singer came up and  turned my ballad "Sweet Man," soon to be released into a rock and roll tune. The audience applauded, stood and screamed loving it. As said in previous blog your dreams will guide you. In last nights dream, I will never give in to him and now I need to think of "Sweet Man" as a rock and roll tune or maybe the blues.

Excerpts from "Here Comes Amazing You"

1.
When was the last time you went into your imagination or focused on a dream you might have had last night? Your dreams do the work for you  because they really know what you want and can open new doors that your never before considered.  If you are fortunate enough to remember one, right it down and see if it makes any sense to you.

Once you have imagined something new; for instance; lets imagine winning the lottery,  What would you really do with the money? Sometimes all of that money would not make any difference in your life style barring buying a multi million dollar home or automobile. It is not about money, its about knowing how to spend your own and manage what you have to find new paths toward happiness and new ideas.

BEAUTY DAY

Sometimes we need nothing nothing at all!

Today was to be a beauty day; you know a treat; facial, man/ped hair cut blow dry.

Stopped at beauty salon to ask what she would do and she said, “I like your hair just the

way it is; I would not do anything.” As I exited, someone noticed my nails which were

painted blue with silver sparkles...”I love your nail polish.” “But I was on the way to have

them done.” “Really?”  Ok I will simply have a facial but since I was  outside took a

look at my skin in an outdoor mirror and thought it looked perfect. I started calculating;

haircut +60.00 man. ped + 30.00 Facial + 60    $150.00 savings.

So went to Rickies and bought some new giltter polish to have and later went for a blow

dry for $25.00 ok ok. We don’t need to always spend money.

Then took a look at my teeth as have an upcoming dental cleaning? What for? I take

brilliant care of my teeth; what about the trip to dermatologist to check my skin? What

for? I can see there are no changes. So the bad part is that I have nothing to do now

except count my money 150+ $40 dentist + 35.00 dermo. - $225.00  minus blow dry

$25.00 =$200.00 savings. What a disappointing day.

Women on their hands and knees

We all know women who are and have been on their hands and knees begging for love and  marriage. You have seen these women pulling on the pants leg when the love affair goes wrong, and not just in the movies

But here is a new way to be on your hands and knees and feel great about it!

Get out a bucket, fill it with water (vinegar for hard wood) put a towel under your knees and get down there and wash your floor.

The exercise is great, swerling your arms back and forth, up and down off of your knees changing the water, scrub a dub dub and oh those results.

Men have always loved women to be on their hands and knees; the earthy woman like Sophia is sexy to alot of men.

Let me know how you do!

See you on the floor.

Death

A young woman 53 years fought cancer braverly for more than 10 years. She made it!
Having nothing to do with cancer she fell and banged her head tripping as she left her car. She got up and walked into the house taking a bath. She did not survive the bath.
This is the shock and sadness of how fragile our lives are; how we fight and win what we think is our battle, having nothing to do with the real battle of our lives which for some of us is not getting a chance to battle.
